Eligibility
Identify as a BIPOC/Global Majority Student
High school junior in Spring 2024 at a Pierce County high school
Actively involved in your school and/or your community
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Be eligible for Pell Grant as determined by Aid Calculator
Commitment
Attend ALL Post-Secondary trainings (generally 3hrs per month) during the 11 months between spring semester junior year through the summer after graduating high school.
Maintain a 2.0 GPA
Maintain contact with Palmer Scholars staff & mentor throughout college
Complete semi-annual check-ins/Surveys

A mentor who provides 1-on-1 support
Financial assistance ($2,500 scholarship, $500 book stipend & $500 personal expense stipend each year of college) renewable up to 5yrs.
